Came here just for dessert after a long day out;-) Got the 1776 Creme Brûlée Cheesecake and the Caffe Affogato. Creme Brûlée Cheesecake was DECADENT & DELICIOUS! Cafe Affogato, also delicious and I had never had one served like this before- they have pressed vanilla ice cream into the sides of the glass cup, glass cups are kept in the freezer. It comes out ready for you to put your hot shots of esspresso or coffee right into the middle of the ice cream glass. Amazing- I appreciate that touch on an otherwise quite typical after dinner dessert drink.

Visited place while visiting for a few days at Rehoboth Beach and found a hidden gem I would definitely come back to! The steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. I upgraded my mashed potatoes to the sweet potatoes and they were delicious! I made a reservation on Opentable based on other reviews and was seated immediately with no issues.

For dessert I definitely recommend the 1776 Creme Brulee Cheesecake! Big enough to split for two people (or one if you are a big cheesecake fan! 😇) and delicious as well!

We visited 1776 Steakhouse last week for their happy hour prix fixe menu, and we were absolutely blown away. You seriously can't beat the value, $35 for a three-course meal is incredible especially considering the quality of the food. I started with the Caesar salad followed by the filet mignon, while my boyfriend had the oysters and the Wagyu burger. Everything was delicious and exceeded our expectations. We both finished with the crème brûlée cheesecake which was pretty good. The drink specials were another pleasant surprise at just $10 each. Between the food, drinks, and atmosphere, the value was unbeatable.
A special shoutout to our waiter, Taylor, who was super attentive, and took the time to explain the menu and answer our questions. He made an already great experience even better. The live music was also a nice touch and really added to the ambiance.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and can't wait to come back again.
