Rehoboth Beach is mostly filled with motels that are expensive nothings. If I’m not staying in a luxury hotel, I don’t want to pay luxury prices. This motel was priced right. It’s well taken care of and clean. The TV had a lot of channels, and the room included a refrigerator and microwave oven. No coffee maker, but they had coffee at the front desk. No iron or ironing board in the room either, which would have been helpful. The front desk brought me one though. The front desk clerks were nice. The water was hot, and the towels were in good shape. Some might be skittish because this is an unaffiliated motel. Don’t be.

The Anchorage Motel is conveniently located. From the moment we pulled up on the parking lot we could see that the motel was well maintained. Rooms were spacious, clean, comfy and tastefully decorated. The employees were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. This was our first time staying at the Anchorage Motel, but it won't be our last. It's the perfect base camp while visiting the area.

What a wonderful surprise! We were looking for just one night to extend our beach stay. The Anchorage was much cheaper than any of the surrounding chains and with better reviews. I can see why! Easy, friendly check-in, the room was modern and clean. The parking lot feels safe, the location is close to shopping and restaurants, and the state park beach is a short drive away. This will be my first choice when we visit Rehoboth!
