What a pleasant surprise finding a clean and friendly with absolutely everything we needed hotel in Millsboro Georgetown area. The staff was fabulous. Maria and her team had everything super clean! The coffee bar with sparkling water made us so happy. The ease of working in the lobby and common areas were so well planned for all needs. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

A newer hotel, nicely appointed, with friendly staff. Only one drawback, there is next to no storage in the room, no place to unpack or hang stuff up. Fine for a night or two. Big plus: coffee machines that brew every cup on demand right from the beans. Delicious.

As stated before. $80. A day for 2 dogs is a steep price. $240. for 3 days . I stayed at Avid in Boston. It was fabulous experience.
With our dog's. It was a disaster. When we checked in . We were told if our dogs didn't bark. We could leave them in the room. We've never had a problem, so we went on a day trip. We received a call, I'm assuming from front desk and hour and a half after we left saying our dogs were barking. By then we were over and hour away walking the beach. We didn't get back immediately. So I had 10 more calls!
I talked to a couple when we returned next to our room. They said yes they barked not constantly. It didn't bother them.
I went to the front desk to let her know we were back. She was nasty. Said don't leave them again. Which we knew not to.
The bed gave me a backache in the morning. There were teenagers talking loudly when we wanted to sleep.
It was a terrible experience. I will not stay at and AVID hotel again.
