Out time at this home was spectacular! From start to finish we had a fantastic time. We couldn’t recommend this place enough. We had family come from all over to meet for a mini family reunion. The parking on the street was abundant, the wrap around porch, accomodations in the newly renovated kitchen, outdoor and indoor seating, laundry room access, spacious bedrooms with the bonus trundle bed upstairs in the back bedroom, the outdoor shower experience, plus the two addtn full bathrooms and comfort of the home in general was just wonderful. We had movie night each night from their supply of dvd movies to play on the downstairs television. The decorations were casual but beautiful, the outdoor pond with koi fish was a lovely added touch to have our morning coffee. We rented bikes just up the street and rode to Rehoboth one day. The state park was not crowded this trip and the ferry trip was lovely.

The owners were incredibly accomodating too. We spent quailty time each night with a glass of wine watching the world go by on the front porch with the entire family.

We will be back for sure. Thank you for such a memorable experience.

Family from Finland and the US

We had a really nice stay with our family of four. It was a very hot week and the AC and the ceiling fans made a huge difference. It was our youngest first experience at the beach and the calm waters were perfect. We loved the nature preserve And the houses location in the dunes was our favorite part.

We recommend 11 California for any large groups. With five bedrooms, it worked out well for us.

We had three couples and three kids. The kids loved sleeping in the bunk bed room. It has beds for up to 8. The other bedrooms on three floors all had queen or king beds for parents and grandparents. Each floor has a full bathroom. Outside there is a shower in back to clean sandy feet and toys before entry into the house.

The central great room with open architecture and a high sloped ceiling off the kitchen was a perfect gathering spot for conversations. The room has comfortable furniture with nautical decorations. The recessed flat screen TV was a favorite for the kiddies to watch their Netflix and YouTube cartoons. Book repositories in two places were appreciated with books and games for all ages. We could see the owners had planned carefully.

Outside the great room is a spacious porch with many cushioned seats. This served as a gathering place for those who wanted to enjoy the fresh air.

Beach access is right down the road. The homeowner supplies all kinds of beach toys and beach chairs. Thank you! Also, we had some initial problems with door codes and found the rental company was very responsive.

We liked 11 California enough that it’s on our list for a repeat visit.
