For adults traveling without children, our keyed-access concierge level offers accommodations enhanced with genteel extras like evening turndown service, comfortable bathrobes, the daily newspaper, morning coffee in the garden (depending on the season), a later checkout time, and use of the private rooftop sundeck and spa. All guests are welcome to enjoy a soak in the heated indoor-outdoor spa pool, located just off the lobby. We spent our 30th anniversary here, for 4 days. The entire experience was perfect. Friendly and attentive staff, everyone made us feel at home. They talked about how well they are treated. This was without exception. It made us feel good to know this. The gentleman at the desk made us feel like we’d known him forever. Warm, kind, willing to do anything for you. The decor is like a museum of antiques. Warm burgundies and reds throughout. The pool was spotless and relaxing to sit by. We will be back. When you feel like you’ll be welcome again, it’s a win/win.

We don't live all that far from the hotel, but wanted a nice getaway for Super Bowl weekend. We saw we could get a room with a 2-person jacuzzi and the off-season pricing made it more compelling. I've stayed at the Ritz-Carlton a few times and they could learn a thing or two from this place. The service was simply amazing and the location can't be beat. One of the parrots took a liking to my wife and hopped on her shoulder a few times. You almost feel like you've gone back in time when you stay here.

WOW! booked an oceanfront queen suite for a quick weekend away at schellville & just WOW! I was nervous traveling with our 5 year old that this hotel wouldn't be a good fit for us. There are some floors that are adults only & I was hopeful that vibe wasn't hotel wide. So happy I was wrong! Our 5 year old was welcomed & loved the uniqueness of this hotel! From the birds in the lobby, the elevator showcasing the ocean & the fluffy beds. She enjoyed every aspect as much as my husband & I did. Beds were extremely comfy, outlets everywhere for charging. Delicious coffee in room to make while you watch the Sunrise. It was the perfect stay & we will definitely be back! We didn't try out any food or room service. But seemed like plenty of options!
