Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience.
We secured a beach house rental for June and were explicitly told multiple times that a “hold was in place and the rental was secure”. We provided requested information, were told a lease would be sent within a few weeks, and followed up in good faith when it didn’t arrive. Each time, we were reassured that the lease was coming and that our reservation was secure.
After weeks of waiting and multiple follow-ups, we were finally informed that the house was no longer available.
This lack of follow-through and communication caused significant stress and left us scrambling after believing we had a confirmed rental. If a property is not truly being held, that should be communicated clearly and honestly upfront.
I would not recommend relying on assurances without a lease in hand.

We wanted to make sure that we wrote a review of our agent as well as our recent experience when selling our home in Milton Delaware.
Ben Stewart was our agent and right from the beginning we knew we wanted Ben to sell our home. Ben did not disappoint. Ben proved how knowledgeable he is and that proved to be invaluable.
It must also be said that Ben was extremely patient while answering our endless questions. Selling in this market was difficult but Ben true to his word successfully brokered a sale for us in just 4 months!
