Davellis Bagel Cafe

I read in Metropolitan Magazine that this place had the best bagels in Seaford, and since I’m working at the hospital nearby, I had to give them a try.

I had read some reviews mentioning slow service, so I decided to put that to the test. From the time I placed my order until I had my everything bagel with cream cheese in hand was exactly 3 minutes and 22 seconds.

While I waited, the cashier was finishing up a phone order. It was obvious they have some loyal customers—someone had just ordered nine bacon, egg, and cheese bagels!

The shop was clean, had some really cool and comfortable seating areas, and everything was on one level with no stairs, making it easy to access.

As for the bagel—it definitely lived up to the hype. It was fresh, delicious, and had just the right amount of cream cheese. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

The bagels here are decent and have a nice texture, which is always a good start to the morning. It is a pretty casual spot that works fine if you are in a rush and just need a quick bite. My order took a little longer than I expected, but it was still warm when it got to me. It is a solid choice if you are nearby and hungry, but it didn't completely blow me away.

The food isn't horrible. I really wish they had prices on the menu as well as a wider selection of drinks in the cooler. I got a breakfast sandwich on a bagel with a bottle of soda for $11.25 kind of high but they're the only game in town.

Edit after getting my sandwich and eating it. This is the worst sandwich I've ever had. There's barely any meat on it. The egg is all falling apart. Strongly recommend avoiding them if you can
