Delaware Botanic Gardens at Pepper Creek

An incredible place unexpectedly right here in the best of Sussex County. We visited 3 years ago, not that long after they had opened and wow, everything has matured and it's seriously stunning. An open meadow filled with, packed with beauty with meandering paths to stroll and take in God's beautiful creation. The Gold Finches were singing above our heads and the swallowtail butterfly's danced from flower to flower. The sight was amazing, full of awe and wonder. Then off into the 12 acres of beautifully crafted paths through the wide that borders a tributary of the Rehoboth Bay, scouring for incredibly crafted wooded, hidden at forms making the adventure even more delightful. The Delaware Botanical Gardens are truly a Delaware wonder. What a fabulous job everyone involved had done to create such a lovely masterpiece right her in the heat of Sussex County, a true unexpected gem that has to be explored and savored. I can not recommend a few hours bet spent than taking in this wonderful beauty. Go, you'll be thrilled. As always, if it's flowering wonders your looking for, consider spring through summer, but any time will certainly price to be a wonderful respite to the soul and eyes.

What a gem! Nature lovers will swoon at abundance of plants and flowers here! Taking a stroll along dedicated paths you'll find attractions made from natural materials! Need a break from beach? This is perfect way to wear the kids out Lol Enjoy!

Very friendly & helpful staff! Quite an enjoyable walk through the nicely maintained trails. Loved the sculptures. Will definitely come back!
