I had a really fun time here, while visiting some friends. Everyone was really nice, the bartenders were very very friendly. The entertainment was very ... Entertaining. Definitely a place to go if your looking for some fun.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

This was one of the most unwelcoming experiences I've had. From the moment I arrived, I felt judged and treated differently because of my race and appearance. The atmosphere came across as cliquish and exclusionary, and I personally experienced behavior that felt both racist and classist.

What bothered me the most was feeling as though I wasn't treated with basic respect. Instead, I felt objectified rather than seen as a person, which made the experience even more uncomfortable.

If you're a Black gay man looking for a welcoming, inclusive environment, I would not recommend this venue based on my experience. I will not be returning, and I hope the management takes a serious look at how guests are treated so that everyone feels respected and welcome.

During the winter, Diego's bar feels quite lifeless; it resembles a disappointing school reunion with poor music and overpriced, low-quality drinks.
The owner also lacks good customer service, and could benefit from bartender training. Their "plastic cup drinks" often cost around $12 and are poorly mixed, usually containing way too much ice. These issues can be overlooked in the summer, as the lively atmosphere created by the gays significantly enhances the overall experience, though the drinks and customer service remain subpar.
