Fenwick Shores, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

I was a little skeptical from the photos online, but they are very accurate. Nicely furnished rooms, the pool deck and proximity to the beach(about a 60 yard walk). What a great place! Staff are super friendly. The area is at the very top of Fenwick, so not crowed at all. Quiet but plenty around for food and activities. 5 minutes to 142 st. And northern OC.

Great location near the beach. Our “water view” room had a view over the 4-lane road. They have a cute little pool on the second floor. Parking is free but tightly monitored. I appreciated the book library. The front desk people were so lovely. They have bikes you can use, like a high end resort. Robes in the room. Nice towels. Wide, bright hallways. The kitchenette with a refrigerator, sink and microwave is convenient. I like that they have 4 cubbies by the front entrance for stuff.

They have daily maid service that empty the trash and replace towels but they don’t make the bed. There was sand in the bed before I even went to the beach. The baseboards needed a wipe down and the shower could use some bleach in spots.

I had a wonderful stay at this property and was immediately impressed by the modern, coastal-inspired design. The atmosphere is very sophisticated yet laid-back, making it a perfect spot to relax while still feeling like you are in a high-end setting. My room was spotless and featured very comfortable furnishings, and the large windows let in a ton of natural light which really added to the experience. The rooftop area is a major highlight, offering great views and a perfect place to unwind after a day out. Every staff member I interacted with was professional and genuinely helpful, ensuring that everything was taken care of from check-in to departure. It’s an excellent choice if you want a refined, boutique feel with all the reliability of a top-tier brand.
