The establishment was nice, aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I had a reservation so seating was quick. Before being seated the host made sure to remind us that there was a 2 hour limit for the reservation. At first I didnt think much of it, thought "Okay, it is Valentines Day, they are probably going to be really busy." We were seated directly behind the host , very close to the front door. After a few other families entered, I noticed the 2 hour disclaimer wasn't being told to anyone else and after a trip to the rest room, I noticed the restaurant was not even half full (never more than that the entire visit). So, that time limit disclaimer turned into first red flag. Felt like we were being rushed before we even sat down. The food was absurdly overpriced. We had a party of 3, all of the courses were ONE shared plate of "dippers", with the exception of The entree, everyone got their own 2 oz of steak, chicken, and shrimp. Roughly 18oz of meat (between all three ppl), 6-7 oz of cheese (one pot), 16oz of broth (one pot) ,4oz of chocolate (one pot) and a plate of dippers to share cost $250 dollars or $83 pp (photos will be added. what you see is literally shared between 3 ppl. with exception of the meat everyone had their own tray of meat). They said the dippers were free to refill, however we were never offered a refill when the plate was empty, the bus woman came took the plate and sent the server to move on to the next course. The server was not attentive to the table, did not offer refills to drinks when empty, had to be reminded to bring the third set of utensils and plates. As I said we were a party of 3 but he kept bringing enough for 2. None of these things were enough to complain about, as subpar service is the norm these days unless youre going to a really upscale establishment. During our visit I did take photos and mentioned to my family that I would still promote the restaurant on my social media page because the experience was nice, and if you have the extra money and want to do something different this would've have been fun.

Unfortunately the entire experience took a horrible turn when the manager confronted me about not tipping 20%. He came over and asked if everything was okay, if we had a good experience. We said yes, we had fun (didn't mention the inattentiveness in an effort to keep it lite). He then says "Well you tipped the server 5% and the standard is 20%, you guys had a $250 bill and stayed for 2 hours so to be tipped less than the standard 20%, the server was kind of hurt by that, and I am too to be honest." I said to him, well the tip is for the sever and I tip according to the service not the amount of the bill, why? because if two servers are doing equal work but one customer ordered more expensive items than the other, why should the server carrying the more expensive items get more money ?? So, I tip based off of performance not the bills total.

My family member was so embarrassed because of how he approached us loudly in front of everyone saying that we didnt tip 20% that she immediately went in her wallet to try to give more. I stopped her and told him, he was being inappropriate and that we had a good time until he ruined it acting passive-aggressive and entitled to a specific percentage of tip.

To save my group the embarrassment, I did give an extra tip and we left but I will NEVER step foot in the place or recommend the establishment to any of my friends or family.

Overall it was fun but all of that was overshadowed my the manager deciding to confront me about the tip not being good enough. Last time I checked tips weren't required so to be ungrateful for what you did get was mind blowing.

You will definitely not leave hungry. All the food was fresh - the broth was very tasty chocolate and cheese was deliciously smooth. Hot cider ...a perfectly done concoction for a cold winters day. Alex our server/every person was delightful, helpful and knowledgeable. Our family will be returning!!

What a great place! The team of servers, hosts and managers collaborated to provide awesome service. The food experience was amazing. We had the 4 course fondue and they offering unlimited extra dippers except the proteins. So much food. So yummy. Oh and the expresso martini was on point.
