Gio's Pizza Co.

We just stopped in for a quick bite before heading out to NY, so we got two of the GIANT slices with mushrooms. So filling. Yum. It was delicious…hot, melting cheese, great sauce flavor (not salty). As good as NY pizza and that’s saying something. Only wished there were more mushrooms but I’m a huge mushroom lover so maybe that’s just me. I was greeted by Brian who made me feel immediately welcomed as soon as I entered the restaurant. Really appreciate the service!

This place is usually a little above average. Tonight it was terrible. The pizza was way overcooked. It was empty in the restaurant so I am not sure how they let a pizza get boxed up that looked so bad. Thin crust, hardly any sauce, hardly any cheese and pepperoni that was black. Thank you for wasting our money.
I am updating my review with additional stars for service. I appreciate the Owners response and will reach out directly next time we give Gios a try. Maybe it was just a bad day. Lesson learned for me to look in the box before I leave. Thank you.

Got the New York pizza and the Hot Honeybee pizza. Delicious food. The fries were a little overdone but good. The place had a standard bar vibe but the food was amazing. I do recommend this place for food. Service was nice, but I thought I was in trouble at first for walking in the wrong side. Food and good price made it all worth it and will come again next trip. Hot honeybee was delicious, never had pizza like this at home. Sauce was home made as well.
