Grotto Pizza

I was really disappointed with my experience. The Alfredo pasta was extremely dry and had very little sauce, which made it hard to enjoy. I politely asked for extra sauce, but was told that the manager said there would be an additional $3 charge. I understand businesses have policies, but for a dish that was already lacking sauce, it was frustrating to be charged extra just to make it edible. I hope they consider improving the consistency of the dish and being more accommodating when customers feel something isn’t prepared properly.

Native to Delaware, Grottos was my favorite for pizza.
Not so much any more….my husband wasn’t in the mood for pizza so we sat in the bar area and I ordered the happy hour special of 2 slices of pizza with sweet peppers. I was served 2 slices with pepperoni which actually looked good. The server apologized, took them back and returned with 2 slices with sweet peppers which did not look appealing. I could only get one piece down; The pizza was dried out and lukewarm…..not a very good happy hour special. That cured my taste for Grottos. We won’t be back any time soon.

Came here because we were told pizza was amazing.. stood at the front door for 10 minutes without even someone acknowledging us.. turned around and left and went down the street to Bona Pizza!! Small place but totally worth it.. I’d choose bona over a fancy place with crappy service any day
