Hotel Wave Rehoboth Beach

I absolutely Enjoyed my time here ! My only complaints is the carpets needs to be replaced . I prayed the whole walk down to my room lol but the room was wonderful!

The pool area definitely can use a remodel but everything else was great !

The front desk worker (TRAYVON) was outstanding—very attentive, respectful, and efficient. He handled everything smoothly and made my experience pleasant. His positive attitude truly stood out. This hotel is lucky to have him as a worker!

We spent two nights at this hotel in early December. When we arrived at the hotel there were only two or three cars on the parking lot. The check-in process was fairly easy, although the room we had been assigned was not cleaned so the manager went to find another one that was. The room itself was clean and basic, however, it should be noted that the hallway carpets were worn and dirty looking. The rooms are supposed to be non-smoking rooms and we had to sign a form attesting to this. The first night in the room was fine but the second night was horrible. A staff person kept coming out of the lobby and smoking, almost every two hours, with the smell coming directly into our room which was right outside the lobby. If you have any allergies to cigarette smoke, this is not a place for you to stay. The managment comment to AAA was that smoking is allowed outside the entrances to the hotel. This should be made clear to guests, especially those right near the lobby area. The second night was terrible and we were asked around 4am if we wanted to move to another room! We were so frustrated that we checked out as quickly as possible at 8:45am and went to get breakfast outside because when we went to the lobby, the same person who was smoking us out all night was at the breakfast area and coughing all over the food prep area.

Absolutely disgusting! We had a room with 2 queen beds. Before getting into bed #1 there were multiple black hairs by the pillows on the blanket. Looked at bed #2 and same issue. Was told the manager had cleaned the room- pretty sad when the manager can’t change the comforters from the previous guest. Also saw hairs in the sink and shower. Our only saving grace was the staff member who grabbed us a fresh set of bedding straight from the dryer and was also willing to remake the bed from their managers negligence. This is our second time staying here and the rooms are just not the cleanest. Day light savings was over a month ago and the time on the microwave was still an hour ahead- that’s how little effort they put into cleaning and maintaining their rooms. Don’t do it.
