JR's Seafood Shack

Stacy was pleasant and did a great job as our server. This is a cozy and casual restaurant with good food. Their crab dip was among the best I’ve ever had (I am from Maryland). The catfish po’boy is tender and crispy, and the dessert pies are excellent — flaky crust with rich filling. Going to a southern restaurant without ordering cheese grits would be unthinkable. The pimento cheese grits were outstanding as well. Perhaps the maple broccoli was lacking — it would have been nice to know that it was steamed/boiled (I thought it would be roasted). Overall had a great experience and would recommend!

Food was great. We started with fried pickles. I got the crab cake with corn salsa. It was delicious. My wife got the crab legs and our child had the smash burger. We didn't have to wait long to be seated and the food didn't take too long to come out despite it being busy.

The food was awesome! We had the Carolina shrimp po boy and the catfish po boy. Home made tarter sauce was divine ( I don’t normally like tarter sauce)

They let us special order 1 crab cake for an appetizer so we could try something new.

Bella our waitress was attentive and never left an empty plate sit for more than a few minutes.

A quick note a side order of hush puppies is 6! More than enough for 2 - 3 people to share
