Delectable European fare with a garnish of history!
Be prepared to be warmly welcomed and for a brief history lesson that explains the varied European selections on the menu.
The dishes were perfectly prepared, albeit not as large portions as I’d hoped. The KAISY was so light and fluffy with excellent flavor and the Eggs Benedict (BLT Benny) silky and multi-dimensional - bacon and sprouts were an unusual but welcome combination.
I would absolutely go back!
A fantastic foodie find with @seasyourmomenttravel

Quick review: Highly recommend for an elevated, flavorful and uncommon breakfast, brunch or lunch option! Absolutely lovely, quaint little restaurant with personality! Had late brunch here today with my children(one of which is a picky eater) and my mom. The picky child took one bite and said, "Oh my days! This is soo good!"
Extended review:
Both kids got the Decadent as their meal. My oldest was bragging to her friends about how good it was and my youngest loved it so much she said, "I'm full but I don't want to be!" when she was about halfway through. Oldest happily finished it off for her. :)
I had the Gröstl - Tiroler with Bratwurst, which was a single fried egg cooked how you prefer with their sautèed potatoes (seasoned potatoes with small bits of onion and bacon pieces) and a side of Sauerkraut it was Amazing! We also tried the Special Hot Cocoa, which my 15 year old demolished in 2 minutes because it was so good, Lemonade and a Spice Chai Tea which was the best I can recall having in years!
I am not typically one who eats cooked apple anything, but my mom ordered 2 Strudels (special dessert of the day, I think?). It was a flaky, layered pastry with apple, nuts and raisin filling and I couldn't stop enjoying it!
Thierry was a delight, accomodated us even though we arrived with only 10 minutes to kitchen closing and made us feel totally welcome once our orders were placed. Wonderful history, yummy food, lovely atmosphere and we will happily be returning guests!

Wow, what a find! This old bank was turned into a DELIGHTFUL place to get the most delicious food! It is a small, quaint restaurant with a perfect sized menu. The old vault is a little waiting room with some of the restaurants history.

As a party of five, each of the Benny's, the 1st open face Latke breakfast sandwich and Chicken Paprikash was ordered. We also shared seasoned potatoes and Kaiserchmarrn with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. I personally had the chicken, and it was soooooo freaking good!!! The seasoned potatoes were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Everyone else cleared their plates and raved about how tasty everything was. If you like the sweet and salty combo, you will enjoy Kaiserchmarrn, it just was not for me.

We put in an order of latkes to go, and they are probably the best potato pancakes I've ever had!

We cannot wait to go back!
