I had an absolutely delightful experience at this Ocean City restaurant chain Matt’s— from the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for something special. The ambience struck the perfect balance between coastal charm and relaxed elegance, making it an ideal spot for both casual lunches and cozy evening dinners.

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our host recommended the cold lobster roll, and i am so glad I took her suggestion — it was so fresh, flavorful, and perfect. Easily one of the best I have had.

My cocktail was delicious! The fish and chips were spot on—crispy, golden batter with tender, flaky fish inside.

I really enjoyed the stir-fried Brussels sprouts and string beans, which added a fresh, slightly smoky twist to the meal and balanced out the richness of the seafood.

You can tell the kitchen takes pride in every dish, and the attentive service just rounds out the experience. If you are visiting Ocean City, this spot deserves a top spot on your dining list. Can’t wait to go back!

Second time eating here- the food is just not good- I like the atmosphere and the servers try to create a fancier dining experience. Went because they had good ratings. Paid 28 dollars for the meatloaf special- could have made the whole family 3 meatloafs for that price. Everything was unseasoned and extremely bland- add salt and pepper- a LOT. It was so gross- the meatloaf tasted what I imagine dog food to taste like. The sauces did zero to help the dish. Even the 1000 layer potato’s- why take the time to do that and not add a little salt and pepper. Kids do not like the Mac and cheese. Coleslaw is strange tasting. Maybe taste test before you send out the food? Or the specials? Did tell the server to not recommend the meatloaf special:/

This was the single best meal and restaurant experience we've ever had in OC.

We probably looked this place over in the past, because the name doesn't stand out...right? However, don't be fooled like we were...the menu is quite creative, and the execution was perfect. Every single food item was served fresh and hot, perfectly presented, and most importantly, delicious. The cocktails were unique and super tasty. It was really tough to choose just one (or three).

The service was friendly, fun, and very prompt. The decor inside was inviting and modern, and the upstairs covered patio was refreshing after a hot day on the beach, with the light breeze wafting in from the ocean.

The only negative is...well, the parking situation is awful. (I'd suggest you skip the tiny, likely already full lot, and just park in their designated spots up the street.) I promise you, though, it is absolutely worth the hassle.

We've only been once, and I'm almost afraid to go back. (What if the 2nd visit doesn't live up to the first?) No, I'm not serious...this place is is now on the "Must Do" list, for the next time we visit.
