Maureen's Ice Cream and Desserts

Oh yea, hands down the best. Huge helpings, fresh ice cream (concrete style!), toppings, and friendly staff. Location can’t be beat- right at the hub of Bethany boardwalk. The cashier, without hesitation, gave my nephews bowls to catch their melting orders as this summer’s heat can’t be beat! Maureen’s ice cream is the only solution. Who is Maureen!? 😜

Early in the season, I saw an Instagram post about the peanut butter bomb and I have dreamed about it since. Today, my husband took me there to celebrate my birthday and it was absolutely delicious - hot fudge, peanut butter, chopped up Reese's pieces and PB ice cream! Brianna was our server and she was so friendly and positive. My husband got the banana split cupdae and he said it was so good too. I would highly recommend Maureens! 😍

Maureen's is the best part of the Bethany Boardwalk. They have several ice cream and smoothie options for people with food allergies, including several vegan, dairy-free, nut-free, and gluten-free options. I have a severe dairy allergy, and the dairy free-ice cream is better than any other options I have ever had before. I had several other family members try the dairy-free ice cream I got, and they said it tasted exactly like the actual ice cream. They are extremely accommodating here and will even go to the back and get you ice cream from a brand new container if you have food allergies. The staff are very kind. One staff member, I believe her name was Brook, was very helpful and considerate, so I'd like to give her a shoutout for that. This is a very nice, cozy, welcoming ice cream store with tons of options (regardless of your dietary needs), and I cannot recommend this place enough.
