Midway Cafe

We had a great breakfast here! The food was fresh and delicious — the veggie omelettes were packed with flavor, the scrapple was crispy and savory, the grits were smooth and buttery, and the home fries were perfectly seasoned. On top of that, the service was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

Working down in Rehoboth at Price Premier and Diamond Motorsports, I noticed Midway Cafe a month ago last time I worked down this way. The cafe was on my list to try. Came in today and ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits. I was actually surprised just how good it is One of my favorites and it tasted like there was love in it. My server was nice and attentive. Sorry I didn't get her name.
This is not a place with a lot of hoopla and loud music. There was the Food Network on TV and no music. Peace and quiet because the meal speaks for itself.

Stopped in for dinner this evening. The eggplant parm was super delicious over penna pasta and included a house salad. The salad was fresh and crisp and included multiple veggies. Our waitress was one of the nicest women I've met in my 19 plus years living down here. My friend had a new phone and couldn't work it. She came to his rescue. Overall we had a wonderful experience, the food, the value for my money and a GREAT server!
