This spot was in the same strip as my hotel, right outside the door. First, the staff was VERY friendly, and I haven’t found that the case with many staff at other restaurants in Lewes. The mushroom soup was amazing with great broth. My server recommended the Publican bowl. I got that and added shrimp. It tasted very fresh and was filling. The list of tap beers was short but varied. It’s clear this place is popular because it filled up quickly on a Tuesday. I highly recommend Pig and Publican.

We stopped in this welcoming eatery for lunch, and were so glad that we did. The food was delicious. I had the classic caesar with grilled chicken. The dressing was tasty, and the chicken was moist and tender. There were plenty of crunchy croutons to complete this scrumptious salad. My wife had the fish tacos which were also a mouthwatering treat. Service was super friendly and even arranged seating for us so we could keep an eye on our dog. Highly recommend.

Food was quite good. Stsrted with the pretzels. Had the al pastor sandwich and the chicken and brie sandwich. Then had the peanut butter pie and bourbon bread pudding for desser. All really good flavors. Waitress left something to be desired. I asked for guacamole on the side and fries and it came with guacamole on the sandwich and chips on the side then when I told her about it she sounded annoyed and asked if it was a deal breaker if it stayed on. Never was given enough silverware or napkins for the table despite asking and my drink was constantly empty.
