Raices Latin Kitchen

A uniquely flavored mocktail, absolutely delicious chips, salsa and queso, but the star of the show was the tacos. They were very unique to any taco I had ever had. I will be back very soon to get the exact same thing!

Top 3 favorite eateries in Sussex. The service and attentive staff out preform most high end restaurants at the beach. Extensive menu options, and the cocktail list is both creative and executed perfectly. Raices has upped the bar for quality, affordable, authentic dining experiences in Delaware.

We ordered the mofongo, which arrived bathed in a mayo-ketchup style sauce that you would not typically be served in Puerto Rico. This is not a traditional spot. It is a place that clearly puts its own flair on Latin-inspired food. The rice and beans were also interesting, as the rice used is not what you would normally expect in a Latin restaurant. That said, the space has a cute vibe. I am willing to come back and try something different, but on this first visit, I was not impressed and left feeling disappointed.
