Redden State Forest
We camped in the Headquarters tract. On the plus side, the sites are crushed gravel pads that drain really well and take tent stakes well, and the cleanest portajohn I've seen at a state park. On the downside, no hand sanitizer dispenser in the portajohn and no water source, for drinking or washing.

Very nice, fairly peaceful hiking area. Trails not blazed and I found the signs a tad confusing , as I've never been here prior. Blazes would be helpful.
Trails are nice and clean. Pavilions are marked, first come.

This is a beautiful place to hike with tall trees and lots of birds on a nice fall or spring day. Lovely place to stretch your legs on the way home from the beach.
