Beautiful restored Governors Mansion with a lot of original furniture and artifacts. The tour guide, Margaret, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. It took about 2 hours to see everything. The Historical Society is doing an excellent job maintaining the property.

The Governor Ross Mansion is a peaceful and beautifully preserved historic site. The grounds are calm and relaxing, and the house itself offers a fascinating look into 19th-century life. It’s the kind of place you appreciate more if you enjoy history, details, and slow walks through well-kept property.
