Sazio

Our family decided to try a few new places this year during our annual week-long getaway to Rehoboth this year, and Sazio came highly recommended. We made a reservation about two weeks in advance, and were promptly seated when we arrived. Wendy was our server, and she was absolutely awesome. The atmosphere and vibe was great, and while it was crowded the arrangement of our table made it easy to chat and connect. The cocktail menu was impressive, and Wendy was great with a recommendation. I had the chicken parmesan, which was also a recommendation, and what a feast it was. Next time, we are going to try dessert as well, but what a fabulous place and an awesome meal. We loved it!

Phenomenal food! We searched for “Italian food,” and this restaurant stood out with great reviews. Even though it was out of the way, I decided to make the drive and I’m so glad I did. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. They were also running a promotion where proceeds from our order were donated to the YMCA, which was a wonderful bonus. Everything we ate was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back. This is the best Italian food I’ve ever had! 🍝✨

Sazio is a charming small Italian restaurant with quality food at a reasonable price. The standout for me was the fantastic service provided by the wait staff and specifically the manager who came by to check on us and was very personable and kind. A person in our group has a severe nut allergy and they made sure their food was cooked in a clean station which is greatly appreciated.

The pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente and portions were appropriate for the price. I enjoyed a half serving of the Lobster Diavolo which had generous portions of lobster mixed into the fantastic sauce. The half serving was perfect for me as an individual and I'd imagine the full portion would be good to split family style or between a small group that wants to experiment with different pastas. The eggplant Parmesan and chicken dishes were also very solid and were a great value proposition given the quantity and quality of food provided.

With Atlas groups acquisition of this restaurant it will be interesting to see if this value proposition remains or if they will attempt to scale this into a higher end Italian spot like Tagliata in Baltimore which features homemade pasta.

I would recommend this spot for small groups or individuals looking to enjoy a quality, reasonably priced meal or those seeking to take advantage of their happy hour and small but charming bar area.
