I was at the Seaside Nature Center. I was looking for something to do. It was a cold day at the shore. I was surprised that such a small place had such vibrant sea life! I saw Horseshoe Crabs, Puffer Fish, Flounders, Pompano (Yes, a popular fish in Pompano Beach, Florida) Fish, and Diamondback Terrapins, a marshland Turtle! I was impressed. The gift shop had a limited selection, but I enjoyed this little center.

It's small, but very cute. Takes about 15 minutes to see everything, longer if you stop to read the informative signs next to each aquarium. There is a small merch area, a tank where you can touch a horseshoe crab, and luckily a very clean bathroom. Not a destination on its own, but a cool little side quest in the state park.

Amazing place to connect with nature and learn about nature. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Inside they have a touch tank! Where u can actually touch A ray and other fish! They also have turtles and fishtanks with a lot of live animals. They sell some souvenirs as well.
