Smith's Cafe
I do not normally write bad reviews, but for a small family business, I think they should provide good customer service esp phone etiquette. I've always loved their food and support small, local, business-owned restaurants, but for the first time, I couldn't pass up the rudeness and the tone of voice of the person on the other end of the line. I placed an order for DoorDash delivery, and it gave me a completely incorrect order. I called Smith's about it, and the lady on the other line just bluntly said, " The dasher picked it up and must have delivered it to the wrong person, that's not our problem anymore, you can call doordash" Nevermind I didn't have lunch at all but I would have understood that if the tone of voice was empathetic rather than the voice of rudeness. When I asked for the information, she just hung up the phone. I understand it can be a very busy place, but there's no excuse for being rude. I don't think it's too much to ask to have some kind tone over the phone esp in this small town.

Second time stopping here for lunch and both times the food was delicious. Staff is very friendly and prices are reasonable. A great selection of daily specials along with the regular menu. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Confused as to how this place has a 4.5 star average. We saw the great reviews and tried it for breakfast this morning. Below mediocre! Eggs were dry and tasteless, sausage was okay/not great, French toast had no flavor at all. Will not return. Only positive was the service- friendly and quick.
