We’re both farmer and chef at The Frozen Farmer, growing ingredients on our third-generation farms and crafting the creamiest, most delicious ice creams, Froberts™ and sorbets from our own family recipes.
We use only the most premium cream and boatloads of luscious, farm-fresh ingredients straight from the fields. And, we use as much imperfect produce in our fruit-based confections as possible, helping build a more sustainable and effective food system, helping fight food waste, and ensuring local farmers (like us!) are rewarded for their full harvest with less waste. Our mission is to incorporate misfit produce into our products for field-to-cup goodness everyone loves.

Tasty & creamy fresh, homemade icecream. They always have a large variety of hand-scooped flavors for a cup, cone, shake or amazing glazed donut icecream sandwich! Add toppings or sauces if you choose. A quaint outdoor seating space is available. Produce and other market items are also on-site but hours may differ from dessert shop. Staff was helpful & friendly.

I placed an order for donuts for Mother’s Day and they were absolutely amazing. Everything was fresh, delicious, and ready before the pickup time I selected.
The strawberry pretzel salad donut? Unreal. One of those things you genuinely have to taste to believe. Sweet, salty, creamy, crunchy perfection in donut form. 🤤
You can really tell they care about quality and freshness. Definitely worth the trip to The Frozen Farmer!!

Oh, YUM! Not only is this place ridiculously cute, their ice cream is mad good! They have flavors I've not seen before like sweet corn and strawberry pretzel salad. We took a couple quarts home - the pumpkin pie and the stenhouse special, which has a bunch of goodies in it like peanut butter, chocolate chunks, pretzels, and I'm not sure what else, but it's fantastic! While we were there, one of the staff gave us a sample of the special Danish mini pancakes (Poffertjes) they were making. They were so tasty with a hint of pumpkin. Really friendly, young staff. I hope they're getting paid well because they presented a great face for the company! Also of note- the frozen farmer is attached to the Evans farm market. Between the two places, you can get a ton of incredible edibles!
