I had booked a room here from January 30-1st. Check in was after 4pm. I drove 4 hours from PA to DE to see a friend dying from cancer. I get to the inn at 545. I literally called the office 10 times with no answer. I was given a PIN code number but there was no lock on the door to punch a PIN code into. I could not get ahold of anyone to get into my room I paid for. I called Priceline. They tried to call the owners of the inn numerous times and they couldn’t get ahold of them. Priceline then cancelled and refunded me all my money even though the inn has a no cancellation clause. I knocked on a rented room to see how to get into my room also and the gentlemen said good luck people have a hard time getting into these rooms all the time. Maybe this business needs to be deleted from Priceline. This is the reason why the inn gets a one star review from me. What a crappy way to run a business. So be aware before booking a room at the inn at Lewes. Looks like an abandoned inn. They definitely didn’t leave the light on. lol.

5 Stars – A Hidden Gem!

I had a fantastic stay here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great value. From check-in to check-out, the staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and surprisingly spacious, with all the essentials — a comfy bed, hot shower, strong Wi-Fi, and even a fridge and microwave.

What really stood out was how quiet and peaceful it was, despite being conveniently located near restaurants and major roads. It felt safe, cozy, and well cared for. You can tell the owners put pride into the place.

If you're looking for an affordable stay that doesn’t compromise on quality or service, this is a great pick. I’ll definitely be returning!

DO NOT STAY HERE! I booked this inn due to the availability and price during memorial day weekend. Never again will we stay here! I expected it to be an older Inn, that wasn't an issue. The issue was the cleanliness and unresponsive "front desk." Almost everything was dirty! The floor, walls, counters had dirt, hair and dust. The couch & decorative pillows are stained. The pull out mattress has springs coming out of it. There were no extra sheets, pillows or blankets. They knew there would be four of us! I was told to call the front desk if I needed anything as someone wouldn't be there but would have the phone on them. I called SIX times, still haven't gotten a call back. I ended up cleaning down everything we would touch. We bought an air mattress, extra blankets and pillows. Even bought washcloths since the only set up for two people.
The only good things about this inn was no bed bugs (we checked), clean linen on the bed and clean towels, washcloths. Oh and location.

DO NOT STAY HERE FOR ANYTHING!
