Theo's Steak, Sides & Spirits - Rehoboth Beach
We loved this place! Was our first dine out of the year on Jan 1st we took my sister while she visited us. Chuck took great care of us. We went without reservation and were able to get a table, recommend to reserve to ensure you will be seated. The food was amazing and cooked to right term. The atmosphere was warm and cozy.

Theo's Steak, Sides & Spirits - Rehoboth Beach
I have normally had very good to great experiences at Theo's, but this one was a wreck. I was in a group of four, service was slow at best, bad at worst. We were ignored until we flagged a waiter who said he had to check if he had our table (he did) and he was a bit below what I have come to expect. I can deal with that, but my meal was terrible.
I typically get the filet medallions oscar style. Not cheap at $59 but not awful. The picture is LAST YEAR'S meal. I didn't take a picture this year, but the medallions were 2 oz tops, ordered medium rare but cooked solid gray, and the lump crab was NOT lump crab and it was strewn about the plate as an afterthought. Presentation was pathetic and rushed. The medallions were bone dry on the side, a small amount of hollandaise was laid on top of too much asparagus, and barely warm plain white backfin crab (NOT CLOSE TO LUMP) was sprinkled about. This was literally what you'd expect at a Jersey diner serving Filet Oscar.
If this place has gone from the dinner in that image to what I got in 1 year, then they have a serious problem. As I read the other reviews I am clearly not the only person who has seen the drop off in quality.
The other 3 dinners were okay. One guy got a strip that he liked. Another a blue cheese crusted filet that was cooked to temp, but the blue cheese was burnt black and the other got a plain filet that was fine. All were happy so I stayed quiet, as I didn't feel like showing up the waiter by flashing an old picture and making a fuss, as I am out with 3 buddies. It was a truly pathetic effort though and there is no way any chef worth his salt could be proud of it.
This is Rehoboth Beach and choices are everywhere. Next time I will make a different one. To top it off, their 4-tops are WAY too small and we were rushed out, which we all confirmed.

Theo's Steak, Sides & Spirits - Rehoboth Beach
We had an absolutely fantastic evening at Theo’s in Rehoboth. The Steak Diane was outstanding — perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and clearly prepared with care. The side offerings were generous and delicious; each plate seemed to be made for sharing (or indulging!).
Our wait staff was exceptional — they offered thoughtful recommendations, checked in at just the right times, and made us feel welcome and cared for. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a vibe that felt upscale yet relaxed. It’s the kind of place where you want to linger over dessert or pour another glass of wine.
We’ll absolutely be back to Theo’s. If you’re looking for top-tier steaks, great service, and a memorable night out in Rehoboth — do yourself a favor and dine here.
