Touch Of Italy
We made our 2nd visit here to celebrate my sister in laws birthday dinner. We were a large party of 9. The service went fast and smooth with plenty of help. We ordered 5 appetizers 4 cheese breads which were delicious. I had the fried calamari which was fresh I could have had fried alittle harder to make it even more crispy. The entrees picked were assorted, my husband and his uncle had the chicken parm which is still as huggggge as I remember from a date me and my husband had long ago. I have a salmon in a citrus sauce with potatoes and asparagus. Other Entrees Were A Caesar salad , lazanya , and others I didn’t catch. The table bread was fresh out the oven just a tad too overcooked it was hard not crisp . The Service Again Ran Fast, Smooth Without Any Incidents. Refills Were Quick. The Pizza Oven Was Very Welcoming And inviting to you wanting A Homemade pizza Right out the oven. The desserts looked just as good as I remember. Last visit my husband brought me a whole box of Italian cookies lol. This time the tiramisu was calling but it was my wedding anniversary on the Valentine’s Day so I already had cake and knew my diet wouldn’t allow for that too🫣😅😂 But it was super tempting. The Atomosphere was cozy , comfortable, and family familiar like you were visiting an Aunt or grandma’s Italian kitchen. I enjoyed it again with a solo day date planned for pizza and tiramisu and shopping.

Touch Of Italy
Touch of Italy has the best Italian food around!! We have never had a bad meal here. We especially love the fresh made bread, great selection of cheeses, and always get a selection of pastries to take home!
Coming into the summer season, they really need to devote time into training their staff at this location. Second Street in Lewes is our favorite, but we happened to be closer to this one, so....
The past 3 times we have gone to this location on Rt 1, the hostess(es?) & staff were more involved in their own conversations than they were concerned that customers were waiting to be seated. This last time we & another couple finally just picked up menus and seated ourselves. It was not busy - maybe a dozen people eating. We sat at a 2 top & could still hear the waiter's & waitresses' conversing in an alcove. We only saw our waitress three times - to take our order, bring us bread, & bring our check. Others had to serve our meal, refill water, etc.
Hubby was so disappointed by the service, he just wanted to leave, so they lost another $30+ in cheese & pastry sales.

This Neopolitana girl is giving the Magherita pizza a rave review...perfetto! Fresh mozzarella and tomato sauce, great crust. I was very happy 😊. Same goes for my husband's white pizza with quality prosciutto..
